Could not open the UI

Symptom

The error "Could not open the UI" can be duplicated under the following conditions:
1.       The server is set up to be a Terminal Server
2.       The server is also set up to be an ACCPAC Web server i.e. ACCPAC and ACCPAC ASP are set up in Component Services
3.       User is accessing the conventional ACCPAC desktop with remote desktop connection.

 

Solution

1.      Apply last service pack should be installed.

2.       Add registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ACCPACINTERNATIONAL, INC.\ACCPAC\Roto with the string value ‘Standalone, and set value ‘Yes’.
